Warsaw Man Arrested for DWI

Deputies say they called for an erratic driver in Warsaw at around 9 p.m. Friday night. Officers say they saw the driver, 35-year-old Jeffrey Murphy, hit a road sign near the intersection of Oatka Road and Keeney Road.
Officers say Murphy continued to Route 19 in South Warsaw where he forced three southbound drivers off the road.
Officers stopped Murphy and found he was drunk and did not have a valid driver's license. Deputies say his blood alcohol content level was more than three times the legal limit.
Murphy is was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, driving while intoxicated, and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Murphy is being held at Wyoming County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in court in January.
