Mitrano To Be Officially Sworn In As Rochester Fire Chief

Sam Mitrano will be sworn in as Rochester's new fire chief Friday.

The Rochester City Council confirmed Mitrano's appointment after he was selected by Mayor Tom Richards last month. Mitrano is a 25-year veteran with the city and has held every rank inside the fire department. The swearing-in will take place at 2 p.m. at City Hall.
