Flags at Half Staff for Area Soldier

Flags on government buildings across NY state will fly at half-staff Thursday in honor of a local soldier who died serving in Afghanistan.  Staff Sergeant Nicholas Reid died December 13th after his unit was attacked with an improvised explosive device four days earlier. Staff Sergeant Reid graduated from Brockport High School in 2004.
