Dontay Caruthers scored 33 points to go along with seven assists and seven steals as East defeated Edison 66-53 Tuesday night on Culver Avenue.
Jonathan Hansen-Moody chipped in with 15 points, six assists and six steals for the Orientals.
Raliek Rudd led Edison with 20 points. The game was tied at halftime at 29-all.
