It wasn't Santa's sled filled with toys this morning. It was an SUV at Henderson Ford in Webster.

Local businesses teamed up with the dealership, donating hundreds of dolls, games and other goodies to "Toys For Tots." Representatives from the Marine Corps Reserve picked up the toys. So far, the Marines have collected more than 2,000 toys locally. It is a nationwide effort to make Christmas morning a little brighter for children everywhere.

"Not everybody is as fortunate as some and we are beyond happy to help out the kids here in Rochester and The Marines all over the country are doing this in every other city," Sergeant Scott Brock said.

"Toys For Tots' is hoping for  more than 4,000 toy donations by Christmas. To learn how and where to donate, click here.
