After a harsh report from the Inspector General's office, the Monroe County Crime Lab says it has cleaned up its act.

The lab gave a status report to the New York State Commission of Forensic Science Tuesday on changes they implemented over the summer. In it are details of ways the lab has strengthened its procedures and improved communication.  The lab was criticized earlier this year after a stunning report that accused it of incompetent work and mismanagement. That led to the firing of its former director, Janet Anderson-Seaquist. She intends to sue the county.
