Tractor Trailer Accident On Thruway

Traffic is back in full swing along the Thruway after an accident involving a tractor trailer Tuesday morning.
State Police say it happened just before 6:30 a.m. on the eastbound lane of I-90 between exits 46 and 45. They a disabled tractor trailer was at the side of the road waiting to be serviced when a passing tractor-trailer side-swiped it. The side-swipe split the disabled trailer open and sent debris into the roadway. A passing pickup truck ran into the debris and suffered a flat tire. No one was injured. The right eastbound lane was temporarily closed for cleanup, but has since reopened.
