Updated: December 9, 2012
Playing their second game in less than 24 hours, the Rochester Lancers (4-4) fell to the defending MISL Champion Milwaukee Wave (3-2) by a score of 13-6. MISL leading scorer Doug Miller had a pair of goals to lead Rochester offensively. With the Lancers scoring three goals, Dunkin Donuts will donate three pounds of coffee to Foodlink.

Milwaukee got off to a quick start when Josh Rife scored an early 3-point goal. Marcelo Fontana would score to give the Wave a 5-0 lead after the first quarter.

The Lancers would get on the board when Mauricio Salles would set up Miller for his first of the game off a top of the arc restart. Milwaukee would carry momentum into the interval because of 3-point goals by Nicolas Perrara and Joe Hammes in the final two minutes of the first half.

Miller would get the lone goal of the third quarter when Rey "Boom Boom" Martinez would set him up for a goal off another top of the arc restart.

Brayton Knapp would score early in the fourth quarter to get the Lancers to within five points. Fontana would close out the scoring with his second goal of the game to push the Wave a game over .500

The Lancers will return home to Christopher J. Wilmot Field at the Blue Cross Arena on December 15th when they host the Wichita Wings at 1 pm.
