Report: Apple and Google to buy Kodak patents

By: John Kucko
Updated: December 8, 2012
(Rochester, NY)  Bloomberg reported late on Friday night that Apple and Google will buy over 1,100 Kodak patents valued over $500 million.  Bloomberg's report cited two sources who were confident that such a deal was imminent.  Kodak has maintained that it plans to exit bankruptcy in 2013 and such a deal with the patent sale would helped facilitate that cause.  Watch News 8 and Fox First at Ten tonight for the latest on this developing story.
