East 69, Franklin 65

Tommie Banks had a monster triple-double with 19 points, 26 rebounds and 13 blocks as East nipped Franklin 69-65 on Culver Avenue Friday evening.

Donte Caruthers led the Orientals with 32 points.

Dan Andrews topped Franklin by also scoring 32.
