Jiles Receives Maximum Sentence For 2011 Murder

A Rochester man may now spend the rest of his life in prison.

Sharad Jiles, 30, was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison Thursday. He was found guilty of second degree murder last month in the shooting death of Sheldon Hepburn. It happened in October 2011. Rochester Police say Jiles shot Hepburn during a home invasion robbery on Hudson Avenue.
