Police Chase Down, Arrest Bank Robbery Suspect

Irondequoit Police say Kevin Wood, 52, entered the Reliant Federal Credit Union just after 9 a.m., slipped a note to a teller and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Wood was located in Greece, but attempted to escape when police caught up with him. He hit several cars and a utility pole in the process.
Wood is charged with robbery and larceny. He will be arraigned in Greece Town Court. Police say more charges are pending.
