More and more people may be spending less this holiday season.

That's the result of a new survey from Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester.  50 percent of shoppers intend to spend less on holiday purchases this year.

37 percent say they intend to spend nothing at all because of financial stress.  10 percent say they will spend as much as they did last year.

Only 3 percent say they plan to spend more because they are in better financial shape.
