Governor Cuomo has announced a plan that will save the historic "Maid of The Mist" operation at Niagara Falls.

The company that runs the boating attracting plans to invest $32 million in the old Schoellkopf power station. The former station will be used for boat maintenance, winter storage and tourist recreation. Officials hope this will bring more revenue for Niagara Falls State Park. The building the company currently leases for these purposes was sold to a California-based company.
