Webster Woman Arrested, Charged with Attempted Armed Robbery

Deputies have arrested a woman believed to be connected to a number of attempted robberies.
55-year-old Barbara Cotie is being charged with robbery in the first degree. Deputies say she has been arrested for a robbery at a Pizza Hut on Empire Boulevard in Penfield. She's accused of going into the store Saturday night with a gun and demanding money.
She was stopped a short time later on Ridge Road in Webster. Webster police believe Cotie may be responsible for an attempted robbery at Kittleberger florist on North Avenue in Webster earlier in the day and another robbery at Mark's Pizzeria in Webster earlier in the week.
