Penfield Wins Big in Season Opener

Last season's loss in the state championships has not been forgotten by
the Penfield girl's basketball team. They kicked off the 2012-13 season
with an emphatic 74-46 win over HF-L.
Margot Hetzke hasn't missed a beat from last season as well, finishing the opener with 26 points and 13 rebounds. Teammates Lucy Covely (17 points) also Sheila Nesselbush (11 points, 7 assists) produced very well for the Patriots (1-0).
Nicole Davis was the leading scorer for HF-L (0-1) with 14 points.
