The Lancers would trail the Comets by a score of 7-4 after the first quarter of play. Missouri captain Vahid Assadpour's 3-point goal would provide the difference in the quarter where Miller and Tiedt scored for the Lancers.
Miller would score all three of the Lancers goals in the second quarter as the home side would take a 10-9 lead into the locker room for halftime. Salles assisted on the last two Lancers goals of the quarter.
The Lancers would take control of the game in the third quarter thanks to powerplay goals by Miller and Stephen Basso and goals by Salles and Miller at even strength. The Lancers would take an 18-11 lead into the final fifteen minutes of play.
The Comets would make it a game with goals from Milan Milanovic, Leo Gibson, and an own goal to pull within three points at 20-17. But, Tiedt and Jeremy Ortiz would score to ice the game for the Lancers.
The Lancers will return to action Sunday, December 2nd as they travel to play the Syracuse Silver Knights at 4 pm. The Lancers will return home to Christopher J. Wilmot Field at the Blue Cross Arena on December 15th when they host the Wichita Wings at 1 pm.
