The Canandaigua School District has a new leader, and she is a familiar face.

The Canandaigua school board voted unanimously to make Lynne Erdle permanent superintendent. Erdle has been interim superintendent since Don Raw resigned suddenly in August. Erdle is a popular choice and knows Canandaigua well. She has been with the district for 35 years. She signed a four-year contract.
