Orleans Co. Corrections Officer Arrested For Misconduct

By: WROC-TV
Updated: November 30, 2012
An Orleans County corrections officer is facing charges after investigators say he had inappropriate conduct with a female inmate.

Charles Parker Jr., 47, is charged with official misconduct. Sheriff deputies say the seven-year veteran had inappropriate contact with the inmate back in October. In addition, investigators say he gave money to the sister of a female inmate. The sister then used that money to post bond for that inmate.

Parker Jr. is on administrative leave. He was released on bail.
