The Rochester Tour De Cure has set a record goal in its fundraising efforts for diabetes research.

The local chapter is hoping to raise $1 million, which would make Rochester one of the top five U.S. cities for the American Diabetes Association. All of the fundraising efforts will culminate with the 2013 Tour De Cure, which is taking place June 2nd at Monroe Community College. Over 2,500 people are expected to participate in the cycle ride.

For more information on how to donate or the Tour De Cure, call the Rochester American Diabetes Association at (585) 458-3040 or visit their website.
