A Seneca County man accused of killing his son back in 2008 is due in court Thursday.

Karl Karlsen, 52, of Romulus is now facing charges in connection with the death of his 23-year-old son. Levi Karlsen died when the truck he was working fell on him. At the time investigators thought this was a tragic accident, but later discovered Karlsen had taken out a life insurance policy on his son and it named Karl as the sole beneficiary.
