The parents of a slain U of R student are now suing the school, accusing it of negligence.

The parents of Jeffrey Bordeaux Jr. have filed a $24 million lawsuit against the University of Rochester, the Delta Epsilon fraternity and Daren Venable. They say that the school's lack of oversight and supervision led to their son's death. Police say Bordeaux Jr. was stabbed to death last January at a frat party after an argument with Venable.

Venable was arrested and tried and found not guilty of murder last April.
