The clock is ticking as Congress and the White House work to hash out a plan to prevent tax hikes and spending cuts. They have about 35 days to come to an agreement. The campaign-style trip is an attempt to build pressure on Congress through public support rather than the behind-closed-doors approach used in last summer's debt talks.
