Miller Sentenced For 2005 Murder

A man convicted twice for a 2005 murder has received the maximum sentence.

Jeffery Miller was sentenced to 32 years to life in prison. He was convicted of second degree murder in the shooting death of Shundra Cuyler last month. Prosecutors say Miller shot Cuyler multiple times as she got out of a car with a friend. He had been convicted in 2006, but an Appellate Court vacated the verdict due to technical issues with the verdict sheet. He faces 25 years to life in prison.
