26-year old David Gerken's body was carried out of St. Mary's Church in Canandaigua.
His family and friends followed.
Outside there were tears and hugs.
The young man was a production foreman at Heritage Packing in Victor.
His friends said he liked to rap in his spare time and he rooted for the Miami Dolphins.
That's the team the Bills were playing on Thursday.
His best friend says he is at a loss for words about losing a friend at such a young age.
"Anytime something like this happens nothing seems to add up just can't put the pieces together," said Clayton Woodard, Gerken's best friend, "We are all crushed."
The Bills released a statement saying Gerken was one of 94 fans ejected from the game last Thursday.
The team said it was for disorderly conduct but wouldn't sgo into more detail.
Police say Gerken likely died from accidental drowning and hypothermia.
Autopsy and toxicology reports have yet to be released.
The investigation is ongoing.
