You can usually find Chef Mark cooking up something good in Wegman's kitchen. But this Thanksgiving the tables have turned. Chef Mark is spending the next two days answering your Thanksgiving dinner questions on Twitter.
"This is just another outlet to reach out to somebody who may not be in touch, or is somewhere else and now has access to a chef now which is nice," Chef Mark said.
The turkey tweets are pouring in like gravy, and Chef Mark is cooking up some answers.
"Busier than we actually thought. We thought we were going to get some other stuff done but apparently people have a lot of issues we need to help them out with," he said.
Stephanie Kinney is gearing up for her Thanksgiving dinner. This holiday, she's just a tweet away from any last minute questions.
"They respond right away. They will tell you exactly where to get everything, so it is just nice and easy," Kinney said.
From thawing your turkey to making those delicious sides, Chef Mark is here to help.
As for the oddest question, Chef Mark said he has responded to "somebody [who] was asking about leaf lard in their biscuits and whether they can substitute regular lard."
Rest assured, this Wegman's shopper got their answer. Chef Mark says although he's here to help this Thanksgiving, his best advice is to plan ahead.
"If you plan ahead, even platters where stuff is suppose to lay, you aren't scrambling afterwards," he said.
Chef Mark will continue to answer your Thanksgiving Dinner questions on Twitter Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
