Recall Of Portable Sleep Tents For Infants

By: WROC-TV
Updated: November 19, 2012
A total of 220,000 portable sleep tents for infants and small children are being recalled because of a safety hazard.

The recall involves the Pea-Pod and Pea-Pod Plus travel beds. It comes after a five-month-old baby was found dead last year with his face pressed against the wall of the tent. The tents were sold at juvenile specialty stores nationwide and on Amazon.com from January 2005 until now. Customers are warned to stop using the tents immediately and contact the maker, Kid-Co Inc.
