A local YMCA is kicking off Thanksgiving week with their annual Turkey run.

Over 700 runners and their families participated in the Southeast YMCA's event Sunday. Turkey Run included a 5-mile run, a 1-mile family run, and a pre-Thanksgiving Day fest.

The goal was to raise money for their "Invest in Youth Campaign" that helps sponsor families in need so they can participate in programs at the YMCA.
