The Rochester Lancers (1-2) fell 17-11 to the Baltimore Blast (5-0) in front of 5,365 fans at the Blue Cross Arena at the Community War Memorial. The Lancers were led offensively by Jeremy Ortiz who had six points off of two goals and an assist. Gary Boughton also scored a pair of goals for the Lancers.

It was the 7th straight time Rochester has lost to Baltimore. The Blast swept six games against the Lancers last season.

The Blast would take the early lead with first quarter goals by Ptah Myers and Machel Millwood. The Lancers would answer back with three straight goals to close out the first quarter with Mauricio Salles scoring and then Boughton getting back-to-back goals to give the Lancers a 6-4 lead after fifteen minutes of play.

The game would be tied at the half after Adriano Dos Santos and JT Noone scored for Baltimore and Ortiz scored his first of the night for the Lancers in the second quarter.

Baltimore would own the third quarter with Tony Donatelli and Max Ferdinand providing the goals for the visitors as they would lead 12-8 after three quarters of play.

The Lancers would pull within a point on Ortiz's 3-point goal. But, Baltimore would put the game away on goals by captain Mike Lookingland and Pat Healey's blocked shot that would roll into the empty Lancers goal with Ortiz in the 6th attacker jersey.

The Lancers will return to action at home on Wednesday, November 21st at the Blue Cross Arena.  The club will host the Chicago Soul beginning at 7:00 p.m.
