A Canandaigua woman is facing charges after police say stole thousands of dollars from the Gorham-Middlesex parent-teacher organization.

Tracy Brooks, 44, has been charged with grand larceny. Ontario County Sheriff deputies say she stole over $50,000 while serving as the organization's treasurer between 2007 and September 2012. She remains in the Ontario County Jail on $10,000 bond. She will appear in Gorham Town Court at a later date.
