Hevesi was sentenced to one to four years in prison last year after being convicted of a felony charge of official misconduct. Hevesi admitted to accepting nearly $1 million in exchange for approving $250 million in pension fund investments he might not have otherwise approved.
Hevesi could be released as early as December 19th.
