A new report predicts that America could become the world's largest oil producer by the turn of the decade.
A report from the International Energy Agency says America is expected to attain this status by around 2020, kicking Saudi Arabia out of the top spot. The country is expected to be energy independent ten years after that. America's rise to the top is credited to a recent resurgence in oil and gas production, and the fact that newer vehicles are more fuel efficient.
