Monroe County Honors Veterans

Veterans and service members were honored across Monroe County on Sunday.
The VFW and American Legion hosted a ceremony in Fairport. A historic Huey Helicopter and battle tank served as the backdrop for the annual event which included a 21 gun salute and the playing of the taps.
The Blue Cross Arena was the site of the city of Rochester's Veteran's Day Program. It included a wreath laying ceremony as several local leaders addressed the crowd.
Veterans from all walks of life, including fire fighters, teachers, and construction workers, were all honored.
