RIT Student Dies After Three-Story Fall

An RIT student has passed away due to injuries he sustained from a three-story fall.
Alexander Ketchek, 19, died at Strong Hospital Thursday. Monroe County Sheriff deputies say Ketchek went to a party on October 26th where he climbed the wall of a building and fell from a third-floor balcony. Investigators discovered that alcohol was served at the party. Three other students were charged with unlawfully dealing with a child.
Ketchek was a student of RIT's School of Film and Animation and Juggling Club. Grief counselors are on hand for students and staff.
