Local Collections for Hurricane Sandy

In Henrietta, firefighters at Station #4 teamed up to collect donations.

They are collecting things like cleaning supplies, pet food, plastic bins, and toilet paper.

Collections are happening until 8pm Thursday night at the station on Bailey Road in Henrietta.

A 26-foot truck will leave tonight to bring to Staten Island.

Meanwhile, in Spencerport, Underground Paint Shop will close its shop starting Monday to bring a trailer of supplies to New Jersey.

The shop has been collecting water, baby food, pet food, and other supplies at it's shop at 1762 Maitou Road, Xtreme Fitness in Greece at 1942 West Ridge Road, Church Radiant at 525 Paul Road, and Doan Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram at 4477 West Ridge Road.
