Pittsford Town Supervisor Appointed To Water Authority

After serving in the position for nearly a decade, Pittsford Town Supervisor Bill Carpenter is resigning to
take a job with the Monroe County Water Authority.
Carpenter's last day in his current job will be November 23rd. In a statement Carpenter says, "It is with mixed emotions that I will turn in my resignation to the Pittsford Town Board. For the past 32 years, I have dedicated myself to preserving, protecting, and guiding the Town of Pittsford - a place that I love to call my home."
Deputy Town Supervisor Sandy Zutes will oversee day-to-day operations in the Supervisors absence. The Pittsford Town Board will ultimately appoint a person to fill the balance of the remaining term which expires at the end of 2013.
