Just a week after being pummeled by Hurricane Sandy, many downstate residents are now dealing with another storm.

A Nor'easter has dumped several inches of snow on residents in Yonkers and Tarrytown. The snow-filled roads caused a number of accidents, including at least one rollover. Snow plows and salt-spreaders ran throughout the night. After a long Wednesday, Long Island residents working in New York City were unable to get back home. The Nor'easter crippled the Long Island railroad system. It had to close down for several hours after trees and wires fell across the tracks. Penn Station had to be closed due to over-crowding as people tried to catch trains that were not running. Late last night, Penn Station was re-opened and service on the Long Island railroad limped back to life.
