Absentee Ballot Deadline Extended Due to Sandy

The deadline for absentee ballots in Tuesday's general election has been extended due to Hurricane Sandy.

The deadline was October 30th, but now it has been pushed back to November 2nd statewide. This extension applies to absentee ballots sent by mail, fax or letter. If you choose to cast an absentee ballot in person, you have until Monday to take it to the Board of Elections.
