Cuomo Signs New Domestic Violence Bill

Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a bill to get tough on repeat domestic violence offenders Thursday.

Under the new law, anyone who is convicted of a domestic violence misdemeanor, and then gets arrested again within the next five years for a domestic violence incident, can be charged with a felony. That is punishable by up to four years in prison.
