The Red Cross is assisting people who live in a building at the Highland Manor Apartments after a fire broke out a little after 10 Thursday night.
Six crews responded, and had the fire under control within an half hour.
Most of the damage was contained to a first floor apartment in the two story building. Two apartments above it have smoke damage.
Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. They did not live in the apartment where the fire broke out.
Fire crews say residents will not be allowed in the building until some time, Friday.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
