Parents of Sex Offender's Victim Facing Charges

The parents of a sex abuse victim are now facing charges because police say they allowed his abuser access to him, knowing that he was a registered sex offender.
Jay Kroll (pictured above), 55, was arrested late last year and accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy. During their investigation, Brighton Police determined the victim's parents negligently provided Kroll access to their child, even though they knew he was a sex offender. Both parents have been charged with endangering the welfare of a child. The boy's father, who is an employee of the federal government, was arraigned last week. His mother will be arraigned on October 29th.
