It is arraignment day for a Rochester man charged with murder.

Domenick Lee Johnson, 21, pleaded not guilty to several charges, including murder, attempted robbery and criminal possession of a weapon. Johnson was indicted in the death of Malcolm McFarland, 18. McFarland was shot and killed on Flower Street September 18th. Prosecutors say McFarland was shot when he responded to the sound of gunfire during an attempted robbery. McFarland was not involved in the robbery.

Johnson will be back in court December 18th. His trial is set to begin in February.
