A popular Niagara Falls attraction is closed for the season, a bit earlier than expected.

Some time between Friday night and Saturday morning, rocks broke free and fell on the trail at the Cave of the Winds. No one was injured. The park along with engineers determined that there still was a falling rock threat, so they closed it for the season. The attraction was scheduled to close on Wednesday. this is the first time something like this has happened there. Experts say dramatic changes in weather and recent rains caused the rocks to fall.
