Chauncey Scissum continued his outstanding season and got help from several of his teammates as top-seed Rush-Henrietta knocked off 8-seed East High 56-0 in the Class AA quarterfinals.
Scissum got things started with the first two scores of the game in the first quarter. Bay Barley had himself a nice game as well, finishing with 96 yards on the ground and a score for the Royal Comets (8-0). Daekwon Wilson finished with 90 yards and a TD on 14 carries for Rush Henrietta.
Webster Thomas ends their season with a 3-5 record. Rush-Henrietta will take on Aquinas in the Class AA semifinals next Sunday (10/28) at 5:00 from Sahlen's Stadium.
