Former President Bill Clinton was in Rochester on Friday campaigning for Congress members Louise Slaughter and Kathy Hochul.

The former President's visit to Rochester brought thousands to the Main Street Armory to show support for the two Congressional incumbents.

Slaughter is in a race against Republican Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks, and Hochul is in a race with former Erie County Executive Chris Collins.

There was a lot of excitement for voters and after the rally News 8 spoke with a number of people who say Clinton brought a lot of energy to the rally and it sent a clear message to voters as to why local Democrats need voters support.

Voters say Clinton made an impact here in Rochester.
