Serious Crash in Hopewell

One person remains in guarded condition at Strong after a three-car crash in Ontario County.

The crash happened just after 4 p.m. Thursday on Route 21 in the town of Hopewell. Ontario County Sheriff deputies say the crash happened a car driven by Lauren Johnson, 29, crossed over the center line and struck another vehicle. Nancey Wilbur, 59, was driving that vehicle and was taken to Strong Hospital by Mercy Flight. Johnson and her two children, ages 3 and three weeks, were treated and released from Strong.
