Grand Jury Indicts Man For Flower St. Homicide

A Monroe County grand jury has indicted a man on murder charges for the death of another man during an attempted robbery. 

The Monroe County District Attorney's Office says Domenick Lee Johnson, 21, has been charged with the murder of Malcolm McFarland, 18. 

Prosecutors say McFarland was shot when he responded with others to the sound of gunfire on Flower Street in Rochester. 

The incident happened on September 18th of this year.  Johnson is charged with one count of murder, two counts of robbery, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. 

Johnson is in the Monroe County jail on $50,000 dollars bail.
