Newark Shooting Victim Identified

Newark Police have identified the man who they say was shot in the early morning last week.

Larry Walrad, 42, was shot through the door of his Silver Hill Road home around 5 a.m. Friday.
Police say he was responding to a knock at his door when he saw a tall man wearing a hoodie with a long gun. He remains in guarded condition at Strong Hospital.

Anyone with information in this case is asked to call Newark Police at 315-331-3701.
