MVP Reaching Out To Kodak Retirees

Kodak is stopping health care and survivor benefits for retirees. The benefits are expected to end by the end of the year. As part of the agreement, Kodak will pay out $7.5 million and a bankruptcy claim of uncertain value. The move still has to be approved by the bankruptcy court, but when that happens at least one local company is assuring retirees they still have options.
For all retirees currently covered under MVP plans, if the court approves Kodak's proposal, MVP will mail information outlining health coverage options. MVP will also hold informational meetings for Kodak retirees who are Medicare-eligible. Those meetings will be:
Friday, November 2, 2012 at 9:00 am, 11:00 am and 2:00 pm at Diplomat Banquet Center, 1956 Lyell Ave., Rochester, NY
Friday, November 9, 2012 at 9:00 and 11:00 am at the Holiday Inn, Rochester Airport, 911 Brooks Ave., Rochester, NY
Friday, November 9, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Burgundy Basin, 1361 Marsh Rd., Pittsford, NY
