Suspects Charged With Bank Robberies

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has arrested four people in
connection with a number of bank robberies in the local area.
Deputies say they have charged Israel Romero, 24, of Rochester, Sarah Cooney, 23, of Rochester, Jeffrey Bliss, 48, of Rochester, and Anthony Way, 27, of Rochester.
All four have been charged in connection with 5 robberies. One happened at an M and T Bank on Panorama Trail in Penfield.
The other happened at a Chase Bank on Fairport Road in East Rochester. Another robbery happened at a Bank of America on South Main Street in Churchville.
The fourth robbery happened at a Chase Bank on State Street in Pittsford. Another Chase Bank was also robbed on Fairport Nine-Mile Point Road in Fairport.
All four individuals were arraigned in Penfield Town Court. Three of the defendants were sent to the Monroe County Jail on $25,000 dollars cash bail.
Bliss was sent to the Monroe County Jail with no bail set.
